Throughout the events, we will be demoing our Live-Streaming Caption Encoder, iCap Falcon. Completely hardware-free, Falcon is the first and only cloud-hosted encoder to offer broadcast-style caption embedding directly into live streaming video across all commercial video streaming platforms - including Wowza Streaming Engine, Facebook Live, YouTube Live Events, UStream, Twitch, Adobe Media Server, and more.
In tandem with Falcon and our other compatible encoders, we will be demonstrating our cloud-hosted Lexi Automatic Captioning service. For both live and offline material, Lexi is capable of delivering over 90% accuracy in both English and Spanish and, is an ideal solution for improving compliance and accessibility on material that would otherwise go uncovered. Lexi can also be accessed on-demand through our Scribe Caption Editing Software to generate fast turnaround caption files for offline content.
We will also be showcasing iCap Alta™ - a fully virtualized captioning solution for live IP-video workflows. From the outset, Alta has been integral to broadcasters making the transition from hardware-driven SDI to software controlled IP video environments. Those employing traditional EEG iCap encoders are now empowered to seamlessly transfer to the Alta platform under the same iCap account. Alta has a flexible deployment model and can be delivered as a virtual machine, in the cloud, or as a software library for custom integration.
