Earlier this month at IBC2019, the Joint Task Force on Networked Media released the results of the JT-NM Tested program. This program provides prospective purchasers of vendor equipment a reference as they evaluate solutions and transition to IP workflows.
EEG Video is proud to announce that Alta received placement in both the ST 2110 and NMOS/TR-1001-1 catalogs, evaluating interoperability of SMPTE ST-2110 A/V flows, configuration, and management. The JT-NM Tested catalogs document the test procedures, test equipment, and results of the JT-NM Tested event that was held at Riedel Communications in Wuppertal, Germany in August 2019.
An official 2110-40 judge and a member of the JT-NM Test Experts Group was Bill McLaughlin, VP of Product Development at EEG. Not only a key contributor of the test plan, McLaughlin has been involved with JT-NM’s IP Showcase event that focuses on educating attendees of industry events on the state of IP in media. IP Showcase talks have included IBC2019, NAB 2019, and NAB 2018.
