Upgrade Instructions
Follow the steps below to apply your product update through the Front Panel USB port:
1. Click Download link provided by EEG. Save the update file (UpdateName.tar.bz2) to your local computer
2. Copy the file to a USB thumb drive, place the drive in the front panel USB slot of the Encoder.
3. Go to System Setup | Update on the front panel LCD and press OK when the name of the update is displayed. (This may take a few moments for the Decoder to read the USB drive)
4. When installation of the update is complete, the encoder will reset automatically if low level firware is updated you will need to power cycle it manually. (A power cycle is required if the Network clock does not display after the upgrade)
Follow the steps below to apply your product update through the Website:
1. Click Download link provided by EEG. Save the update file (UpdateName.tar.bz2) to your local computer
2. Navigate to the Upgrade tab on the DE351 website and click on the Start Update button.
3. Click on Select Upgrade File button and select the EEG Software update you just saved and then click Open and then Apply Update to update the Software. (Do not close out of the web site when updating, there will be no indication of competion.)
